SHIRANIS - HIRIKETIYA BEACH – DIKWELLA
The charming house is located on a quiet street on the hill of Hiriketiya, just a short walking distance away of 2 beautiful beaches.
You’ll love the house for its lush garden. The lounge on the terrace is ideal to relax while the outdoor dining area at the back is as charming. In this cozy corner you can enjoy your breakfast watching the monkeys passing by and in the nights the fireflies will give you a big light spectacle.
The House
You will be offered 3 comfortable bedrooms with poster beds and spring mattresses. The ceiling fans and welcoming sea breeze that finds his way through the open window will give you a good nights’ sleep.
The well-equipped kitchen includes gas stove, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and an array of cooking equipment and utensils. With a short tuk tuk ride into Dikwella town you will find a good equipped grocery shop and a must visit local food market every Saturday. If you wish, our lovely manager Shirani is happy to cook your choice of the given menu selection that you’ll find in the house. Should you opt to eat out, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
There are 2 modern bathrooms with outdoor rain showers that comes with hot water.
SHIRANIS is good for big groups of friends and for families with kids. With a cot, babychair and rocker, steamer for baby meals and a small selection of toys it is well equipped for the very little ones.
The biggest plus that comes for families with small children is our manager Shirani. She is the loveliest and best nanny you can wish and will be more than happy to take care of your children a few hours a day for a little salary.
The house will be cleaned every other day and bed linen will be changed weekly.
For a cost contribution you can hand over your laundry to Shirani and you will find everything nicely washed and folded back in your wardrobe.
For any questions before your arriving you will be in contact with Josie. Shirani is taking care of the house, will welcome you and do her best to make you feel comfortable during stay.
